"It's Not Just a Pair of Shoes, But a Symbol of Hope"

The title of this post are the words of my son Patrick, who along with Jennae Gee, were the catalysts behind the partnership between Samaritan's Feet and Living Stones Church. This shoe distribution, a blessing to the students of James Monroe School in South Bend, IN, would not have been possible if any of the players I mentioned, would not have fulfilled their roles. It was one of the defining moments in the life of our church. The relationship between Monroe School and Living Stones Church, that had been started many years ago, was strengthened beyond any ones imagination.
