The title of this post are the words of my son Patrick, who along with Jennae Gee, were the catalysts behind the partnership between Samaritan's Feet and Living Stones Church. This shoe distribution, a blessing to the students of James Monroe School in South Bend, IN, would not have been possible if any of the players I mentioned, would not have fulfilled their roles. It was one of the defining moments in the life of our church. The relationship between Monroe School and Living Stones Church, that had been started many years ago, was strengthened beyond any ones imagination. Please enjoy a video that was filmed on the night before and then the day of the event. We serve a mighty God!
Life is a blast. My family is growing (three Grand Kids)and my wife Dana and I are more in love than ever before. We are "all in" at Living Stones Church on Donmoyer Avenue in South Bend. We share Pastor Sam's and the body of Christ' passion for the South Side of South Bend. We are a true neighborhood church, seeking ways we can make a difference through the supernatural person of Jesus who lives in each of us. That's not an official statement, but I think it summarizes for me what we are trying to do. If people don't see there is something different about us, then why would they think we have anything to offer other than what they already have. My passion is to see men take hold of Jesus, and lead their families with the love of Christ as the filter through which everything first must pass. Thus, the name of this blog.
