Something About That Name

Anybody who knows me very well knows that I love contemporary worship. They know I love using today's culture to bring the love of Jesus to those who Jesus misses most. But I have to tell you, you won't find any sweeter music than that of Bill and Gloria Gaither. I don't know how you found this today, but I can't believe it was by accident. I don't know what is going on in your life. Maybe your marriage is in trouble. Maybe your children need help and you don't know where to turn. Maybe you're just tired of not being the kind of husband and dad your family needs. Somehow, you have come to the right place. Take a couple of minutes and listen to a song that is not contemporary. But it is such a powerful song because it gives you the answer you are looking for.

Too Long

It has been a really long time since I have had time to sit and write. There is much to write but not much time to do it though. A quick update on the Living Stones shoe distribution in conjunction with Samaritan's Feet is needed. Not only do we have a date, September 19, but we also have a place. We are going to distribute the shoes to the 360 K-4th grades of Monroe School at our church. We are really pumped! We are in the midst of securing our volunteer staff and goodies that we will need to carry out the love task. As more becomes available, I will share it.
